Darcy Hart has diverse work experience in the field of optics and engineering. They started their career as an Optical Engineer at Hughes Electronics, where they worked on developing head-up displays for police vehicles and solving manufacturing issues. They also contributed to the design proposals for military contracts.
Afterwards, Darcy joined Science & Technology Inc (STI) as a Sr. Optical Engineer, where they designed and tested medical equipment for cervical cancer detection using hyperspectral imaging. They also designed hyperspectral systems for ecological surveys and military applications.
Darcy then worked at Seagate Technology as a Sr. Optical Engineer, focusing on optical data storage product development. However, the program was ultimately cancelled due to advancements in magnetic technologies.
At Nonin Medical, Inc., Darcy worked as a System Engineer, followed by a role at PPT Vision as a Sr. Optical Engineer. At PPT Vision, they were responsible for the optical design of a 3D non-contact height measurement sensor and collaborated with software engineers to develop testing and diagnostics for the sensors.
Darcy joined Rudolph Technologies as a Sr. Design Engineering Manager, where they managed programs and provided technical leadership to a team of engineers. They also played a significant role in new product development, roadmap planning, and technical roadmap development.
Currently, Darcy is employed at Minnetronix, Inc., where they initially served as an Optical Systems Program Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director Optics Key Technology Segment.
Additionally, Darcy has served on the Board of Directors for Adimec since 2017.
Darcy Hart holds a Master's Degree in MSEE, Optics from the University of Southern California. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BSEE from the same institution. However, no specific information regarding the start or end year for their education is available.
