Laura Rodríguez-Pascau has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biology and genetics. Laura began their career as a Teacher Assistant in the Animal Physiology Department at the University of Barcelona in 2002. Afterward, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at CSIC-IRTA from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they joined the University of Barcelona's Genetics Department as a Pre-doctoral researcher, where they stayed until 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Teacher of laboratory courses from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they worked at Minoryx Therapeutics, starting as a Research Scientist in 2012 and gradually progressing to the roles of Lab Manager in 2015, Senior Scientist in 2017, and now as the Director of Biology from February 2023.
Laura Rodríguez-Pascau has a strong educational background in the field of biology and genetics. Laura obtained a B.Sc. in Biology from the Universitat de Barcelona, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Following this, they pursued advanced studies at the same institution and earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (DEA) between 2005 and 2007. Laura continued their academic journey by completing a Ph.D. in Human Molecular Genetics from the Universitat de Barcelona from 2005 to 2011.
In addition to their degrees, Laura also obtained certifications to enhance their skills and qualifications. In 2008, they obtained a Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP) from the University of Barcelona. Additionally, in 2010, they earned a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge. These certifications demonstrate Laura's commitment to professional development and their ability to excel in different areas of their field.
