Charlotte Gillett

Charlotte Gillett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and commercial strategy. As the Managing Director and co-founder of Deer Island Distillers Limited since January 2021, Charlotte has played a pivotal role in producing rum and rum-related products on the Isle of Jura. Previously, Charlotte has held multiple positions at Mint Accounting since its inception in November 2010, including Commercial Director, Business Improvement Strategist, and Business Development and Communications Manager, focusing on brand development, service enhancement, and strategic growth. Prior roles include Client Relationship Manager and Marketing Co-Ordinator at One Accounting Limited and Office Administrator at Grafters Group. Charlotte holds a BA in Chemistry and Marketing from Heriot-Watt University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
