Amel Hassan has a diverse background in both healthcare and community engagement. Currently serving as a Credentialing Assistant at Mint Physician Staffing and a Social Media and Marketing Intern at Rare Disease Research, LLC, Amel also holds leadership positions as the Vice President of Programming and Program Lead of i-STEM Scholars at STEMchats. With experience as a Student Program Director at Hamilton Partnership for Paterson and a Teacher Assistant at Emory University School of Law, Amel has shown a strong commitment to education and public service. Previous roles include Clinical Care Technician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Treasurer for the Muslim Student Association at Emory University. Amel holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Anthropology from Emory University, completed in 2022.
