Tladi Makatsa

Tladi Makatsa is a skilled researcher and managing director with extensive experience in the engineering and scientific fields. Currently serving as a Researcher, Head of Maintenance, and Quality Controller at Mintek since November 2017, Tladi focuses on developing catalysts for wastewater treatment, computational fluid dynamic modeling, and advancing various water treatment technologies. As the Managing Director of Qhwabi Contractors since January 2017, Tladi leads initiatives in green engineering projects and converting industrial waste into profitable products. Previous roles include Engineering Intern at the City of Matlosana, where optimization of a biological wastewater treatment plant was a key responsibility, and Medical Technician at NHLS, where Tladi also served as acting supervisor for a virology laboratory. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa and ongoing MBA studies at the University of Johannesburg.
