Jan Ove Kalhagen has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Jan Ove began their career in 1996 in the Norwegian Navy, serving as a krypteringsoperatør and personal assistant. After completing their military service, they worked as a security officer at Vaktservice for four years. Jan Ove then transitioned to property management at FAV eiendom AS, where they managed 56 studio apartments. In 2000, they joined BMH AS as a department manager, specializing in TV, projector, DVD, and satellite technologies, as well as designing high-end home cinema solutions. Jan Ove then worked at Telehuset from 2004 to 2007 as a business consultant, focusing on mobile solutions, device management, and meeting room solutions. Jan Ove then moved on to Intelecom Group, where they were a key account manager and worked with designing and selling call center systems and cloud-based solutions. Jan Ove joined Nordialog in 2009 as a senior consultant, and from 2013 to 2014, they worked at Visolit as a senior key account manager, handling IT and data operating solutions for outsourcing companies. In 2014, they joined EVRY as a senior sales executive, responsible for Office 365, SharePoint, and infrastructure sales. Their most recent position is with Mintra, where they initially served as a key account manager in 2015. Jan Ove then progressed to become a sales manager in 2019 and currently holds the role of sales director.
Jan Ove Kalhagen pursued an Executive MBA in Strategisk ledelse from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2016 to 2018.
