Elliot G. Sagor is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in complex civil litigation and white collar defense. Currently, Sagor serves as a partner at Mintz & Gold LLP since January 2014. Prior to this role, Sagor was a partner at Hogan Lovells US LLP from 2010 to December 2013, specializing in civil and criminal litigation, pre-indictment advocacy, trials, and appeals. Sagor also held a partnership at Squadron Ellenoff from 1985 to 2001, where Elliot G. led the litigation department before its merger into Hogan & Hartson LLP. Earlier in their career, Sagor served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, focusing on securities, tax, and public corruption prosecutions. Sagor's military experience includes serving as a legal officer in the US Navy Reserve from 1966 to 1969. Sagor completed a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Bachelor of Laws at New York University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Accounting and Finance from The Wharton School.
