Simone is an intellectual property attorney whose practice is focused on patent litigation. She works with clients in a wide variety of industries, including life sciences, financial services, and technology. Simone was a Summer Associate at Mintz in 2021.
Prior to joining Mintz, Simone was a legal intern within the Civil Rights Division of the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. In that role, she drafted memoranda and supporting arguments for motions, synthesized and analyzed bills, and conducted investigative work.
Earlier, as a legal extern for a global provider of financial market data and infrastructure, Simone worked on large-scale mergers, researched executive orders, and assisted with a wide range of contractual matters.
Simone earned her JD with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Innovation. While in law school, she served as the inaugural Chief Diversity Editor and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the Northeastern University Law Review, and was selected as a Corporate Counsel Women of Color fellow. She was also Chair of the National Black Law Students Association, and member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Intellectual Property Society, and Student Bar Association.
