Darryl Koivisto

Darryl Koivisto is the Chief Technology Officer and the visionary at Mirabilis Design. Darryl has over 30 years of experience as an Architect, Program Manager and as modeling expert. Before Mirabilis Design, he held a number of roles with increasing responsibility and was the Principal Modeling Consultant at Cadence Design Systems (CDS). Prior to CDS, Darryl was Project Manager at Ford Aerospace, where he managed large satellite projects for NASA. He has been a Chip Architect at Signetics (now NXP Semiconductor), and an I/O Architect at Amdahl. Darryl has a DBA from Golden Gate University, an MS from Santa Clara University, and a BS from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Darryl Koivisto runs a blog that discusses challenges and opportunities in semiconductors, primarily around AI and data center processors.
