Julie Miller, LISW-CP, ACM-SW has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julie currently holds the position of Chief Clinical Officer at MIRCI since November 2022. As a Medical Social Worker-Hospice, they maintained a caseload of terminally ill patients, provided counseling to patients and their families, and arranged grief counseling visits. Julie also served as a bereavement counselor at a bereavement camp for children called Brett's Rainbow Bereavement.
Julie's earliest work experience was as a Legislative Page at the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1996 to 1997. As a Legislative Page, they assisted members of the General Assembly with various tasks, including delivering materials and messages within the Capitol complex, answering phones in the Members' offices, and working in the House Chambers during Assembly sessions.
Julie Miller, LISW-CP, ACM-SW, holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina, which was obtained from 1996 to 1997. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Social Work at Winthrop University from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their education, Julie has earned certifications as an Accredited Case Manager-SW from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) and as a Licensed Independent Social Worker from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation.
