Aurora Simion

Aurora Simion has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Aurora began as a volunteer for AFS Intercultural Programs in 2014, and then moved to Oasi Boschetto a.s.d. in 2017, where they worked as a Secretary. In 2015, they began working as an English Educator for Pingu's English Italia. In 2017, they also began working as a Student Delegate for Giovani nel Mondo, attending the Rome MUN 2017 and 2018 editions and leading simulations of the UN Committees FAO and NATO. In 2020, Aurora Simion began working at Opto Engineering, where they worked as an Area Sales Manager and Sales Intern. In 2021, they began working at Approche Sur Mesure as a Customer Relations Specialist. Most recently, they began working as a US Area Manager for MIRTA in 2022.

Aurora Simion has a diverse educational background. From 2010 to 2015, they attended Liceo Ginnasio Virgilio, where they obtained their High School Diploma in the field of Liceo Linguistico. In 2013 and 2014, they participated in the AFS Exchange Year Program at West Springfield High School in Massachusetts. From 2015 to 2018, they attended Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they obtained their Laurea triennale in Lingue, civiltà e scienze del linguaggio. From 2018 to 2021, they are attending Università degli Studi di Milano, where they are pursuing their Laurea Magistrale LM in Lingue e Culture per la Comunicazione e la Cooperazione Internazionale. Additionally, they spent 2019 and 2020 at Universidad Europea, where they completed their Erasmus + in Traducción y Comunicación Intercultural. Aurora Simion also holds certifications from Accenture Italia and Cambridge Assessment English.
