Laura Juckem

Laura Juckem has extensive experience in the field of research and development. Laura began their career at Mirus Corporation as an Associate Scientist from 2001 to 2003. Laura then joined EMD Chemicals as an R&D Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they transitioned to Mirus Bio LLC, where they held several roles including R&D Senior Scientist from 2009 to 2010, R&D Group Leader from 2010 to 2016, Director of Scientific Operations in 2016, and Vice President of Scientific Operations from 2016 to 2022. In 2022, Laura served as the Vice President of Scientific Operations and Product Management before being promoted to their current role as the Vice President of Research & Development at Mirus Bio LLC.

Laura Juckem obtained a Leadership Development Certificate from the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, during the period of 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2003 to 2008. Laura Juckem's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where they majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry, from 1997 to 2001.
