Liwei Chen

Liwei Chen is a Senior Research Scientist at Mirxes, with prior experience as a Research Scientist in Assay Development at M Diagnostics, where key responsibilities included leading NGS assay development and managing operations projects. Previously, Liwei served as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, contributing to multidisciplinary project planning, mentoring, and publishing findings, including a significant project on the elderly microbiome. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Officer at the same university, overseeing project schedules and laboratory duties. Liwei holds a PhD in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from Zhejiang University, and a BS in Bioengineering from Tianjin University.
