Andy Hsieh

Andy Hsieh has a diverse work experience in research and technology. Andy is currently the co-founder and CTO at Miso Technologies Inc. Andy also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell Tech, where they co-developed modern, reusable deep learning algorithms for recommender systems. Prior to that, they were a graduate researcher at Cornell Tech, where they focused on immersive recommendations and developed personalized news/event recommendation algorithms. Andy has also interned at Microsoft Research, where they developed a large-scale DNA variant calling system, and at Trend Micro as an RD intern. Andy has a strong academic background, having worked as a graduate researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, and as a research assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where they worked on various projects related to mobile device power consumption and video quality optimization.

Andy Hsieh completed their education at three different institutions.
