Ahmad Helmy is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of architecture and urban planning. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Misr International University since October 2009, Ahmad has progressed through roles from Teaching Assistant to Assistant Lecturer in the faculty of engineering sciences & arts. In addition to academic duties, Ahmad is the Founder and Chief Design Officer of the Architectural Design Platform (ADP) since June 2018. Ahmad's extensive freelance work as an Architect and Graphic Designer commenced in June 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning obtained from Ain Shams University between February 2017 and March 2022, a Master’s Degree in the same field earned from 2010 to February 2016, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Urban Engineering received from 2004 to 2009.
