Andre Bergeron has a diverse work experience in the fields of bioprocess engineering, research, yoga instruction, and lab technician roles. Andre'smost recent position was as the Director of Bioprocess Engineering at Mission Barns, where they managed the bioprocess engineering team. Prior to this, they held roles of increasing responsibility at Mission Barns, including Associate Director of Bioprocess Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering Manager, and Bioprocess Engineer. Before joining Mission Barns, Andre worked as a Research Assistant at Washington State University, where they conducted research on bio-processing technology and received funding for a project on algae nutrient recovery systems. Andre also has experience as a Yoga Instructor at Sanctuary Yoga and as a Scientist at Beckman Coulter, where they led antibody production projects and trained new scientists. Andre'scareer started as a Lab Technician at the Center for Eukaryotic Structural Genomics, where they produced recombinant proteins for structural determination.
Andre Bergeron earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bio-chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Biofuels Science Certificate from UC San Diego for the academic year 2014-2015. Andre then went on to complete their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biological Systems Engineering, with a specialization in Bioenergy and Bioproducts, from Washington State University, where they attended from 2015 to 2018.
