Amir Fahmy

Amir Fahmy has a diverse work experience in credit risk management, analytics, and business strategy. Amir worked as the Senior Director of Credit Risk Management and Analytics at Mission Lane from May 2020 to the present. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Credit Risk Management and Analytics at the same company starting in January 2019.

Before joining Mission Lane, Fahmy worked at LendUp as a Credit Card Acquisitions Product Manager from April 2018 to January 2019. Amir also served as a Group Business Manager and Senior Business Manager at LendUp from January 2018 to April 2018 and September 2017 to January 2018, respectively.

Earlier in their career, Fahmy had several roles at Capital One. These include General Business Strategy Manager, Head of Acquisitions Website Strategy Manager, Head of Outbound Digital Marketing Manager, Subprime Credit Card Product Strategy Manager, UK Card Customer Management Senior Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and Business Analyst. Amir worked at Capital One from July 2008 to December 2016.

Throughout their career, Fahmy has gained experience in credit risk management, analytics, product management, business strategy development, and market research.

Amir Fahmy completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution from 2007 to 2008.
