Stephen Schruff

Stephen Schruff currently serves as the General Manager of Transmission at Mississippi Power, overseeing the construction and maintenance of Transmission Lines and Substations along with System Protection and Controls for the high-voltage system. With extensive experience at Mississippi Power since 1999, Stephen has held various roles, including Distribution Manager, where the focus was on customer service and electric operations in the Coast Division. Notable accomplishments include leading a team for the Kemper Project's prudence regulatory preparations and managing recovery efforts during Hurricane Katrina. Stephen holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mississippi State University and has been active in community organizations, serving on boards such as the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
