Phillip Plaatjes CA (SA) is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Group Finance Director and Group Financial Controller at MISTER MINIT Europe since November 2015, Phillip oversees financial operations for a market leader operating in 13 countries with nearly 800 shops. Prior to this, Phillip held senior positions at Elster from January 2010 to October 2015, where responsibilities included group tax management and divisional finance leadership. Phillip’s career began in audit roles at KPMG UK and Arthur Andersen & Co., along with a unique experience teaching English in Korea. Educational achievements include a PGDip in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Western Cape.
