Janina Knobbe

Janina Knobbe's work experience includes a role as a Senior UX Content & Copywriter Lead at Mister Spex since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior UX & Brand Copywriter at lastminute.com from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for copywriting for German brands weg.de, lastminute.de, and bravofly. Their responsibilities also included product and marketing campaign copy, A/B testing, research, data analysis, language localization project management, and translation from English, Spanish, and Italian to German.

Additionally, Janina worked as a Public Relations Assistant at Zoográfico Ediciones from 2017 to 2018, a German Translator and Quality Control professional at IMS Health from June to October 2017, and a Translator at LexGo Translations from April to June 2017.

Before that, they gained experience in International Relations as an employee at Eikon Editores S.L. from September to December 2016. Janina also worked as a Student Assistant at Freie Universität Berlin from 2014 to 2016, where they provided administrative support, edited research papers and articles, conducted literature research, managed social media and homepages, organized conferences and workshops, and counseled academic guests. Janina also worked as a Freelance Translator and International Office Assistant during this time.

Janina's earlier experiences include working as a Public Relations Manager at PROST S.A.S. in 2014, an Intern in the Editorial Department at Argentinisches Tageblatt from November 2013 to January 2014, and an Intern in the Editorial Department at CORNELSEN PUBLISHER HOUSE in Berlin from June to October 2010.

Janina Knobbe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature and Language / Social Sciences / Education from Freie Universität Berlin in 2012. Janina then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from the same institution, completing it in 2016. During their Master's program, they also conducted qualitative empirical research for their final project through a research scholarship at the University of Buenos Aires in 2015. Additionally, Janina completed a Master of Arts program in Estudios Latinoamericanos at Universidad Nacional de San Martín from 2013 to 2014. Janina has obtained certifications in E-Learning Tutor, CMS Editor, B1 Portuguese, C1 Spanish, and C1 English from Freie Universität Berlin.
