Josh Spisak is an accomplished robotics engineer and team leader with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Since founding the team at MIT-PITT-RW in January 2020, Josh has held roles including Chief Engineer, hardware lead, and general team lead, contributing to key developments such as vehicle controllers and localization systems. Prior experience includes research assistant positions at Carnegie Mellon University, where involvement in the DARPA Subterranean Challenge led to significant achievements, and a role as Principal Robotics Engineer at Mach9 Robotics. Josh's educational background includes a Master's degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and an Associate's degree in Software Development from the Community College of Allegheny County.
