Sarah Murphy

Sarah Murphy, M.Sc. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sarah is currently working at Mitacs as the Lead, Client Success. Prior to this, they worked at Mental Health Research Canada, where they held roles as the Manager, Grants and Studentships, and as the Coordinator, Research and Executive Engagement. Sarah also has experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto and as a Teaching Assistant. Sarah has previously interned at Nestlé and held various positions at the University of Toronto, SWIFT, and Anthropologie Europe. Overall, Sarah's work experience showcases their versatility and expertise in research, project management, and client success.

Sarah Murphy, M.Sc. completed their high school education from the American School of Dubai in the period between 2010 and 2013. Sarah then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree at the University of Toronto in the field of Human Biology: Fundamental Genetics & Its Applications and Nutritional Sciences from 2013 to 2017. Sarah continued their education at the University of Toronto and obtained a Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nutritional Sciences from 2017 to 2019. Sarah later enrolled at the University of Toronto again to pursue a Project Management Certificate from 2021 to 2022. Following this, Sarah completed a Communications and Public Relations Certificate with a focus on Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at Western University from 2024 to 2025. Additionally, they obtained a Laboratory Biosafety Certification from the University of Toronto in February 2015 and became a certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200) through the Yoga Alliance in 2013.
