Jim Hilbert

Professor Of Law at MITCHELL HAMLINE SCHOOL OF LAW

Jim Hilbert has extensive experience in law and education, currently serving as a Professor of Law and Interim President and Dean at Mitchell Hamline School of Law since December 2015, also holding the position of Vice Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs. In addition, Jim is a Senior Fellow at the Dispute Resolution Institute and an Executive Committee member of the St. Paul NAACP. Previously, Jim held leadership roles at Alignor and William Mitchell College of Law, including Executive Director of the Center for Negotiation and Justice, and practiced law at Shulman Law Firm. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College.
