Mahammad Momin

Mohammad Momin is a seasoned urban designer currently serving as a Senior Associate at Mithun since January 2013, with prior experience as an Associate Urban Designer. Momin holds the position of Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Albany, California, since January 2021. Academic credentials include a Master of Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley, where a graduate thesis focused on re-envisioning public housing in Lower East-side Manhattan. Honors include an Honorable Mention in the Far Roc For a Resilient Rockaway Design Competition and the APA California Award of Excellence for The Open Window Project.
