Dana Baril

Dana Baril is an experienced security engineering professional currently serving as the Security Engineering Manager at Meta since January 2022 and as an Advisory Board Member at MITRE Engenuity since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Dana worked at Microsoft from 2015 to January 2022, holding key positions as Security Research Team Lead for Microsoft Defender ATP and Windows Security Research Manager, as well as serving as a Security Research Architect and Security Software Engineer. Earlier in the career, Dana gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Google in 2014-2015 and worked as a Data Scientist at Pursway from 2012 to 2013, focusing on domain research. Dana earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University between 2013 and 2016.
