Andrew Dahbura

Andrew Dahbura is a Senior Data Scientist at MITRE since August 2021, previously serving as a Manager of Data Science at Procter & Gamble and as a Research Intern at Capital One, where Andrew designed and developed a fraud detection system for the Small Business Card division utilizing machine learning methods. Dahbura was recognized with the "Best Paper for Data Science in Business" award at the SIEDS 2019 conference. Prior roles include Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia, supporting statistics education, and Instructor at Fairfax Collegiate, LLC, where improvement in student math performance exceeded 20%. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Statistics, Economics, and a minor in Business Spanish from the University of Virginia.
