Benjamin Berman

Benjamin Berman is a Senior Imaging Scientist at MITRE, specializing in emerging technologies since February 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Reviewer at the FDA, focusing on imaging systems and software devices, and holding a role as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow, where quantitative medical imaging was a primary focus. Berman's academic background includes extensive research in compressed sensing MRI as a Research Assistant in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona, along with experience as a Teaching Assistant in Mathematics. Berman began academic pursuits as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in mathematical modeling at the University of Michigan, complemented by tutoring in mathematics.
