Demetrius Davis

Demetrius Davis is a seasoned Principal Systems Engineer at MITRE, bringing extensive experience in supporting DoD, IC, and DHS enterprise 5G initiatives with a focus on policy, acquisition, and security. Previously, Demetrius served as the Department Chief Engineer, overseeing a 50-person team within the Systems Engineering Technical Center, emphasizing technical quality and innovation. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at SAIC, where development of a content management system for DoD, and Principal Software Engineer at Titan Corporation, leading the creation of JFACTS. Additional experience includes simulation and software engineering at SAIC and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, following earlier research at MIT. Demetrius is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, with advanced degrees in the same field from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor's degree from Lincoln University.
