Nima L. is currently a Quantum Research Scientist at MITRE, focusing on quantum noise characterization of NV-sensors and developing AC wide-field imaging techniques with quantum sensors. Previously, Nima served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where significant contributions included implementing a synchronized pulse generation and measurement control infrastructure for silicon spin quantum processors. Nima also held roles as the Head Teaching Assistant for a graduate-level course, Graduate Associate at Perry World House with a published op-ed on quantum technology, and President and Founder of the Penn Quantum Engineering Graduate Association. Additional experience includes consulting at Kepler Computing, reviewing for the American Chemical Society, and conducting research at Berkeley Lab, culminating in a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. The academic background is further supported by an MSE in Electrical Engineering from the same institution and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.
