Rob Newton

Rob Newton is an experienced data professional with a strong background in analytics engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Data Scientist in Analytics Engineering at Vendr since February 2023, Rob provides comprehensive data support, including integration of data sources, creation of data models using dbt, and delivery of Tableau reports. Previously, Rob worked as a Customer Service Forecasting Analyst at Chewy, where forecasting and statistical analysis were key responsibilities. Other roles include Business Intelligence Analyst at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, Data Scientist at Applied Quantitative Sciences, and various teaching positions, including Mathematics and Computer Science Teacher at Trinity School. Rob holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Florida and certificates in Data Science and Visualization from the New York Data Science Academy.
