Wilson Wang

SVP, CFO, Treasurer at MITRE

Wilson Wang is senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer at MITRE. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring MITRE's financial strength, so we deliver on our mission to solve problems for a safer world. His responsibilities include oversight of MITRE’s accounting, internal audit, contracts and pricing, financial planning and analysis, program control, treasury and investments, financial business systems, and analytics functions.

Wang also serves as Chief Financial Officer for MITRE Engenuity, a tech foundation for public good.

Wang previously served as head of Enterprise Transformation, leading a broad, multiyear effort to transform the company’s business operations and systems.

Wang joined MITRE in 2009 as a financial analysis principal. He was soon promoted to finance director of the Center for Connected Government, then MITRE’s civilian business unit, which served the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Wang was subsequently named director of finance and assistant treasurer, taking on responsibility for the oversight of a 100-person corporate finance organization.

Prior to joining MITRE, Wang managed a global financial planning and analysis team at Computer Sciences Corporation. He also worked as a financial planning and analysis consultant for the multinational management and technology consulting firm BearingPoint, and as an accountant for Lockheed Martin.

Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in general business from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a master’s in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
