Catherine Thompson

Catherine Thompson is a Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently leading the process engineering efforts within the Circular Economy project at Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates since August 2020. Additionally, Catherine has been serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Mitsubishi Chemical UK since April 2021 and previously worked as a Process Engineer at Lucite International from September 2012 to August 2020, focusing on the Alpha technology research and development team. Catherine began the career as a Graduate Process Engineer, providing technical support for the Sulphuric Acid Recovery plant. Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, completed in 2012.
