Jeannie N Kim

Jeannie N Kim has a solid background in risk management, with experience in multiple companies. Jeannie N started their career at Reliant Energy in 2002 as a Retail Pricing Analyst, where they conducted pricing scenario analysis for various customer campaigns.

In 2006, they moved to DCP Midstream, where they worked as a Sr Risk Analyst, performing daily risk analysis for natural gas, NGL, and condensate portfolios. Jeannie N later became a Risk Manager, managing a group responsible for publishing key data to the Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors. Jeannie N worked closely with Commercial and FP&A teams to determine long-term forecasts and hedging strategies for assets.

In 2015, Jeannie joined Mitsui & Co. Energy Marketing and Services (USA), Inc. as a Risk Manager. Jeannie N was involved in managing market risk, credit risk, confirmations, and ETRM trade support for various commodities. Jeannie N also developed and administered risk management programs and played a key role in regulatory compliance.

Jeannie quickly advanced at Mitsui & Co. and became the Director of Risk Management in 2019. In this role, they were responsible for managing market risk, credit risk, and regulatory compliance. Jeannie N also developed and administered risk management programs by leveraging their strong understanding of the contract-to-cash process.

Most recently, Jeannie was promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at Mitsui & Co. In this role, they took on the responsibility of identifying, evaluating, mitigating, and monitoring company-wide risks under an enterprise risk management framework. Jeannie N oversaw operational and strategic risk for all commodities and served as the program director for the SEED Rotational Program for middle/back-office analysts.
