Sim Shagaya

Sim Shagaya is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology, education, and commerce. Currently serving as Chancellor of Miva University since May 2023, Sim also acts as the Founder and Group CEO of uLesson Education, a position held since June 2019. Previously, Sim founded and led Konga Online Shopping Ltd from June 2012 to December 2016, establishing a prominent online marketplace in Nigeria, and owned E-Motion Advertising Limited, an out-of-home advertising firm, from May 2006 to July 2012. Early in their career, Sim worked with Google as Africa Lead and served as VP for West Africa at Rand Merchant Bank. Sim holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School, a Master in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University.
