Sam Vensel

Sam Vensel has a diverse work experience in various fields. Sam started their career as a Computer Repair Technician at Campus Computer, LLC in 2013, where they gained skills in troubleshooting, repair, customer service, and vendor relations. In 2014, they worked as a Computer Support Technician & Teacher's Assistant at Daniel Morgan Technology Center. Sam then joined Spartanburg School District Three as a Computer Technician from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Sam transitioned to the tech industry and undertook a Software Developer Internship at MIX Networks, Inc., where they gained experience in PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and backend/API/UI development. Sam later became a Lead Software Developer at the same company, responsible for project management, software development, engineering, and quality assurance. Sam also worked as a Software Support Engineer at MIX Networks. Apart from their tech roles, they showcased their musical skills as a Lead Guitarist at All Saints Church-Spartanburg from 2011 to 2015. Overall, Sam Vensel has a well-rounded work history in technology, computer support, teaching assistance, and music.

Sam Vensel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clemson University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Sam attended the University of South Carolina Upstate from 2014 to 2016, also studying Computer Science. Sam graduated from Spartanburg High School in 2014 with a High School Diploma, achieving Summa Cum Laude honors. In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained certifications including an A+ Certification from CompTIA in July 2013 and a PC Pro Certification from TestOut Corporation in 2013.
