Dominique Benz has a strong background in risk management and operational control within the financial industry. Dominique currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Business Controls at Mizuho. In this role, they lead a team responsible for performing essential enterprise control functions across the company. Dominique is also accountable for managing various risks and spearheading data privacy and fraud prevention efforts. Prior to Mizuho, Dominique worked as the Director of Operations Risk Management at Mizuho where they built and implemented the Operational Risk Management framework. Dominique also held leadership positions at Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank, where they gained experience in risk strategy, program management, entity data management, and product development. Throughout their career, Dominique has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of implementing effective risk management practices.
Dominique Benz holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University's College of Engineering. In addition, Dominique has obtained certifications in Operational Risk Management from Chase Cooper and Securities Industry Institute from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
