Kate Lavin has an extensive background in the journalism industry, with experience ranging from copy editing to editorial direction. Kate has worked for various media companies such as MJBiz, Wines & Vines, and Bay Area News Group. Kate has a Bachelor of Science in Print Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and has received additional education in product management for journalists and wine executive programs. Currently serving as the Editorial Director at MJBiz, Kate leads editorial direction for a trade media and events company in the regulated cannabis industry. Kate manages a team of nine and oversees daily news reports, magazines, and editorial content.
