Bruce Bachus has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Bruce began their career in 2000 as the CIO and Agency Commander of the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G3. In 2005, they moved to Symantec, where they served as a Business Development Manager, evaluating the needs of highly valued customers and bringing in over $35M in revenue over the past two years. In 2010, they joined Microsoft as a Services Executive. In 2013, they became General Manager of Permuta Technologies, Inc., and in 2016 they became Business Development Manager of MKGCS.
Bruce Bachus received their BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1971 and 1975. Bruce then went on to pursue a MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California between 1977 and 1979. In 1991, Bruce earned their Doctor of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University. Prior to this, Bruce attended Fort Hunt High School between 1968 and 1970, and Bren Mar Elementary between 1960 and 1964.
