Chris Haugen

Chris Haugen, EIT, is an Assistant Engineer II at MKN since June 2021, having previously held positions as Assistant Engineer I and Civil Engineering Intern within the same company. Chris completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly in June 2022, where engagement included serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, contributing to the digitization of bay inlet data and performing analyses using ArcGIS and MATLAB. Additional experience includes leadership as the Treasurer for the Cal Poly Engineers Without Borders Local Team, where responsibilities encompassed designing an earth fill dam, analyzing watershed data, and managing permitting applications. Prior roles also featured work as a frontline student assistant at the Poly Escapes Outdoor Center, ensuring accurate rental data management.
