Derrick Peterman

Derrick Peterman is an accomplished sales professional with over 27 years of experience in the field of laser diagnostic equipment and measurements. Currently serving as Sales Director for Ophir Instruments at MKS Instruments since November 2019, Derrick previously held the position of Northern California Sales Manager at Ophir-Spiricon Inc. from September 2010 to November 2019, where responsibilities included sales and customer support for various laser diagnostic products. Derrick began a career in consultative sales as a Sales Engineer at Photon, Inc., focusing on beam profilers, and earlier contributed as a Senior Scientist and Measurement Specialist at LDJ Electronics, where Derrick was involved in customer interactions and equipment installation. Derrick holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University and a BA in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis.
