Emanuel Serban

Emanuel Serban, Ph.D., P.Eng. is an accomplished professional with substantial experience in engineering management and academia. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at MKS Instruments, Emanuel has previously held notable positions including Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia and Faculty Instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Emanuel's industry experience encompasses roles such as R&D Engineering Manager for Power Conversion at EnerSys and R&D Chief Engineer for Power Electronics Design at Schneider Electric. Emanuel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, attained between 2013 and 2017, as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Politehnica University Timisoara.
