Tom Dhaene

Tom Dhaene is currently a Full Professor at Ghent University, a position they have held since October 2007. In addition, they are a Co-Founder of ML2Grow since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked at imec as an RnD employee starting in October 2016. From 2007 to 2016, they held a similar RnD role at iMinds. Before joining iMinds, they worked as a Professor at the University of Antwerp from an unknown start date to 2007. Prior to their academic positions, Tom worked as an RnD engineer at Agilent Technologies from an unknown start date to 2001, as well as at HP from an unknown start date to 1999. Tom also worked as an RnD engineer at Alphabit NV from an unknown start date to 1994.

Tom Dhaene pursued their education at Ghent University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from 1984 to 1989. Tom furthered their academic journey at the same institution, completing a PhD in Electrotechnical Engineering from 1989 to 1993.
