Kristián Balaj

Kristián Balaj's work experience includes the following roles:

- Project Tech Lead at MLabs since December 2022 (ongoing)

- Haskell Developer at MLabs starting from April 2022 (ongoing). Responsible for working on decentralized applications built on the Cardano blockchain, implementing new features, fixing vulnerabilities, addressing audit issues, and designing solutions. Also involved in off-chain development.

- Intern at MLabs from March 2022 to April 2022.

- Flutter Tech Lead at OneByte Technology s.r.o. from June 2021 to March 2022. Led a team of 2-3 developers and made architecture, development, and design decisions.

- Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador at Microsoft from September 2018 to June 2021.

- Lifbee Academy Student at Lifbee Academy from July 2020 to November 2020.

- Unity Developer at Doublequote Studio from February 2018 to May 2019.

- Skill Drill by Pixel Federation at Pixel Federation from November 2016 to June 2017. Participated in an education program focused on game development, learning about game design, programming, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and design, as well as improving soft skills.

- Študentské Trénerské Centrum at Microsoft from December 2015 to June 2017. Involved in an education program for high school students interested in IT, focusing on personal development, soft skills, and technology learning.

Kristián Balaj received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology from 2017 to 2020. Kristián then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2022.
