Josh Slagter

Josh Slagter is a seasoned sports journalism professional with a career spanning over two decades. Since 2011, Slagter has served as the Sports Operations Leader at MLive Media Group, managing the coverage and logistics for statewide sports reporters and overseeing day-to-day operations. Previous roles at MLive include Managing Producer for Statewide Sports and Statewide Sports Reporter, where Slagter focused on quality control and produced engaging content on major sports teams. Prior to MLive, Slagter was the Online Sports Producer and Copy Editor at The Grand Rapids Press, where responsibilities included managing and editing local and statewide sports content. Slagter holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Western Michigan University.
