Jeremy Wastie has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jeremy started their career in the British Army as a Captain in the Royal Engineers. After leaving the army, they worked as a self-employed cabinet maker before transitioning into sales. Jeremy then held sales and account management positions at Spitfire Network Services Ltd, Powerhouse Communications plc, DeTeWe, and Siemens Enterprise Communications. At Siemens, they were an Account Director and achieved success in selling unified communications and managed service solutions to UK local governments. Jeremy joined Updata Infrastructure as a Head of Public Sector Sales and later became the Business Development Director, where they focused on acquiring new customers in the local authority and NHS markets. Currently, they are the Head of Public Sector Sales at MLL Telecom, leading client management and business development efforts in the South, with a focus on assisting local authorities, the NHS, emergency services, and third sector organizations in achieving their digital ambitions.

Jeremy Wastie attended Eastbourne College from 1976 to 1981. Following this, they pursued a BSc degree in Timber Technology from the University of Buckingham, graduating in 1984. In 1984 and 1985, they attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
