Erik Vellmete

Erik Vellmete has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Erik began their career in 1996 as a Software Developer at MLP Consult GmbH, where they worked until 1999. Erik then joined MLP Login GmbH in 2000, where they held the role of IT Infrastructure Department Head. In this role, they were responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of the IT infrastructure and network, as well as leading the development and operation of various IT systems. Erik held this position until 2006, during which they obtained the authority to act and the power of attorney.

In 2006, Vellmete joined MLP Finanzberatung SE, where they initially worked as the IT Infrastructure and Basic Applications Department Head. In this role, they were responsible for the conception, implementation, and operation of the IT infrastructure and basic systems, including desktop management, messaging, storage, network, and telecommunications. Erik also oversaw the SAP applications and served as an outsourcing supervisor. In 2017, Vellmete was appointed as the IT Infrastructure and Basic Applications Department Manager, and they obtained the authority to act and the power of attorney. From March 2020, they have assumed the role of Chief Cloud Officer at the same company. In this position, their responsibilities involve cloud services and overseeing the IT infrastructure and basic applications.

Erik Vellmete attended The University of Göttingen from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Diplom Mathematiker with a focus on Mathematik und Informatik. In addition to their formal education, Erik obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1995, they received a certification in Diplom Mathematiker from the Numerisches Institut der Georg August Universität Göttingen. In 2007, they obtained an ITIL Foundation certification from TÜV SÜD Akademie GmbH. Finally, in 2012, Erik obtained a certification in "Besser führen mit Grid" from Grid International in Leverkusen.
