Yvan Whomsley

Yvan Whomsley is a professional translator and coordinator with extensive experience in the sports translation industry. Currently serving as a Coordinator at Blue Whale Global Media since November 2018, Yvan has managed translations for high-profile events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 and coordinated media days involving reporters and translators. Additionally, Yvan has worked as a freelance translator since 2018, collaborating with organizations including UEFA and the European Club Association on press conferences and interviews with notable football figures. Prior roles include Programme Officer - Translator at the International Sports Alliance and a translation internship at the Council of Europe. Yvan holds a degree in Applied Foreign Languages from the University of Strasbourg and has completed an exchange program at Universidad de Chile.
