Nicola Matz

Nicola Matz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nicola is currently working at Medical Microinstruments, Inc. as the Vice President Sales EMEA since April 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at the same company as the Regional Sales Manager DACH from November 2022 to April 2023, and as the Regional Sales Manager - Germany & Austria from November 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Medical Microinstruments, Nicola worked at Intuitive, where they started as a daVinci Clinical Territory Associate in July 2017 and served until March 2019. Nicola then progressed to become a daVinci Clinical Sales Associate from April 2019 to July 2020, followed by a role as a daVinci Clinical Sales Representative from July 2020 to January 2021. Their most recent position at Intuitive was as a daVinci Senior Clinical Sales Representative from January 2021 to November 2021.

Earlier in their career, Nicola worked as an Intern at Roche Diagnostics International AG from April 2016 to March 2017, and as a Laboratory Technician at Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG from October 2015 to March 2016. Nicola also worked as a Laboratory Technician Apprentice at Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG from August 2006 to August 2009.

Nicola Matz's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Berufsschule Aarau and obtained a Fähigkeitszeugnis in Chemielaborant. Nicola also attended Berufsschule Lenzburg during this time and earned a Berufsmaturität.

In 2012, they pursued further studies at ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology. During the same year, they also received a Cambridge Proficiency in English from EC San Diego and a Mandarin Diploma from Mandarin House Shanghai, specializing in English and Chinese language respectively.

From 2015 to 2017, Nicola Matz enrolled in the ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management once again, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.

In 2017, they attended Intercultura Costa Rica and obtained a Spanish Diploma, focusing on Spanish language studies.

More recently, in 2021, they participated in the Management Development Program (MDP) offered by Intuitive Surgical.

Currently, Nicola Matz is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of St.Gallen, starting from 2022 and expected to graduate in 2024. The specific field of study for this degree is not provided.
