Michaela Gragert has a vast and diverse work experience in the field of consumer research and sensory insights. Michaela started their career as an Intern at Barilla America, Inc. where they worked as a Food Quality Assurance Technician. Later, they joined Kellogg Company as a Pre-professional Sensory Intern, providing project-specific results and recommendations for sensory testing. Michaela then moved on to Griffith Laboratories, where they worked as a Sensory Scientist, leading sensory programs and managing descriptive panels.
After that, Michaela joined Wrigley as a Senior Sensory Scientist, where they led the development and implementation of a descriptive analysis panel. Michaela then joined Conagra Brands, where they held various roles, including Sensory Manager, Senior Sensory Scientist, Director - Sensory Insights, and Conagra Brands People & Culture Involvement & Impact. In these roles, they led teams and provided sensory support to different areas of the business, as well as played a key role in transitioning the sensory function to data-driven insights.

Michaela Gragert obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Food Science/Sensory/Statistics from Kansas State University from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Consumer Food Science from 1998 to 2001.
In addition to their formal education, Michaela has also pursued continued education and obtained several certifications. Michaela completed courses such as "Crafting Strategic Visual Stories" and "Presenting Data Visually" at The Presentation Company in April 2020.
