Jason Mate is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in municipal and environmental projects. Currently serving as a Resident Engineer at MNS Engineers Inc since July 2015, Jason collaborates with the Principal Construction Manager on municipal water projects in Greater Los Angeles. Previously, Jason held the position of Project Superintendent at Baseline Constructors Inc EPC, overseeing two major wastewater treatment upgrades valued at $15 million for the cities of London and Toronto. As an Assistant Project Manager at SunEdison, Jason was involved in the construction of three utility-scale solar farm projects in Canada, with a total project value of $150 million. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Site Engineer for Leighton Contractors, where responsibilities included managing various public infrastructure projects for the Queensland Government. Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil/Environmental Engineering (Honors) from Griffith University.
